October is sparrow season at Earlham! As sparrows migrate south, the prairies and shrubby edges of Earlham’s natural areas become lively gathering places. On this guided walk, we’ll search for different sparrow species and observe their unique colors and behaviors. Participants will also learn where to look for sparrows and how to communicate with them using calls. A perfect outing for families, students, and anyone eager to experience fall migration up close.
There is no registration required for this program, however donations are always appreciated.
