Birds of the Evening Hour

  • Cope Environmental Center 1730 Airport Road Centerville, IN, 47330 United States (map)

As daylight fades, the bird world begins a subtle but fascinating transition. Join us for this special evening bird walk as we explore what birds are doing in the final moments before they settle in to roost and keep an eye (and ear) out for early-emerging nocturnal species.

This walk offers a quieter, more intimate birding experience, perfect for curious beginners and seasoned birders alike. Learn how light, temperature, and habitat influence evening behavior, and discover which species thrive during this overlooked time of day. Bring your curiosity and binoculars, winter evenings hold more life than you might expect.

This is a free program, however donations always appreciated.
