Hands for Habitat

  • Cope Environmental Center 1730 Airport Road Centerville, IN, 47330 United States (map)

Help protect Cope’s natural beauty and native ecosystems during our hands-on Hands for Habitat! Invasive species such as honeysuckle and autumn olive threaten the health of our habitats by outcompeting native plants. During this volunteer event, you’ll learn how to identify and safely remove these aggressive species while gaining valuable skills to use in your own backyard. Every pair of helping hands makes a difference—together we can restore balance, create healthier habitats for wildlife, and preserve the natural heritage that makes Cope so special. No prior experience is needed, and all tools and materials will be provided. Roll up your sleeves, get outdoors, and make an impact!
