When children learn to appreciate and enjoy nature, they are more likely to grow into adults who value and protect our environment. A nature scavenger hunt is a fun, educational, and creative way to enjoy the wonders of wild spaces with kids. Participating in a scavenger hunt for plants and animals, kids can pay greater attention to details they might miss on a typical walk in the woods.
Take a walk on one of our trails or outdoors anywhere and look for the following items. Take pictures of what you find! Mark off your scavenger hunt and bring in at least one picture to claim your prize.
