Service Learning & Required Hours

Cope Environmental Center offers opportunities for individuals needing to complete court-ordered or otherwise mandated community service hours. Participants can contribute through meaningful, hands-on work that supports our mission, including trail maintenance, landscaping, invasive species removal, event setup, and general facility upkeep.

All service hours must be scheduled in advance and approved by our staff. Participants are expected to arrive on time, follow all guidelines, and complete assigned tasks responsibly. We are able to provide verification of completed hours as required.

Please note that not all offenses may be eligible for placement and individuals applying are responsible for obtaining and providing their own background check. Acceptance into the program is at the discretion of Cope Environmental Center.
