  • Cope Environmental Center 1730 Airport Road Centerville, IN, 47330 United States (map)

As you walk through the woods you may have heard some scratching on the forest floor and then heard these strange double noted metallic calls resonating through the forest. This is the activity of our Thrushes. Now some thrushes like robins and bluebirds are very active and are seen in most people's daily lives. throughout the year though there are other species of  thrushes living secretive lives on our forest floor. Join in the forest of Cope as we search for these forest floor dwelling birds and learn about what daily life is like for them. We will learn how to identify their songs and what areas of the forest they prefer to be in.
