Did you know that Indiana hosts seven species of owls during the winter? Join us at Cope Environmental Center as Libby Keyes, Director of the Mary Gray Bird Sanctuary, shares insights into the migration of winter owls. Discover the journey of the Saw-Whet Owl, where to find Snowy Owls, and learn about other owl species that travel south from the far north during the colder months.
After the presentation, we’ll take a short hike to explore the woods in search of these mysterious birds. Make sure you dress for the weather!
Whooo knows? You might spot one roosting nearby!
