As dusk approaches, another animal takes to the wing, but it's not a bird, a bee, or a plane. It's a bat!
Bats are some of the most interesting mammals in Indiana. Though often misunderstood, they are an important part of nocturnal life around us and play a valuable role in keeping our food chain in balance.
Join us to learn about the bats that live around us, discover how we can support them, and explore the ways bats have made their way into culture and stories. Then, as darkness approaches, we'll head out onto the property in search of our flying neighbors and use a bat detector to listen for bats as they fly around us.
