Nocturnal Wildlife Hike

  • Cope Environmental Center 1730 Airport Road Centerville, IN, 47330 United States (map)

Have you ever wondered what interesting critters are moving around at night when we are all winding down and getting ready for bed? Certainly not ghouls and goblins! Instead we have tons of amazing animals who are coming out to forage, hunt, and migrate. Join as we walk the forest and properties of Cope at night to learn about all the amazing activity going on. We will look for nighthawks and bats flying above us, owls and flying squirrels calling in the forest, moths on the side of the buildings and trees, and so much more! We will also talk about light pollution and how we can mitigate that to better help our nocturnal friends and us.

No registration required, but donations are appreciated!
