Fall Migration Walk

  • Cope Environmental Center 1730 Airport Road Centerville, IN, 47330 United States (map)

With the coming of autumn come out to see the return of millions of birds down from the north! After a long summer of breeding and growing adult and juvenile birds are making their ways back south for the winter. Join us every Wednesday morning this month for a wonderful walk around Cope searching for these amazing birds. We will talk about the differences in fall and spring migration, and how some birds may appear in different color patterns after their summer molts. These hikes are for all ages and all skill levels of birders. Bring your binoculars and prepare for a feathertastic adventure!

No registration required, but donations are appreciated!
