Preparing for Winter Hike

Generally for people winter preparation begins in late October and early November. In nature though plants and animals are starting to get prepared much sooner and fall change starts to come in full swing in September. Birds are migrating, Plants create berries, leaves start to change, and so many other things happen that we seldom notice. join us for a wonderful hike through the property as we go around to see and learn about all these early changes that are occurring in our forest, wetlands, and prairies. We will also talk about ways that you can start helping flora and fauna with their start of the fall transition around your property.
