Join us for a relaxing morning as we walk along the south side of Cope in search of birds! We will be looking for all kinds of birds, but our focus will be on open fields, ponds, wood edge, and forest canopy species. From Field sparrows to Wood ducks, and Golden-winged warblers to scarlet tanagers you never know what you are going to see. This walk will focus on the south side of our property and will be a slow moderate pace on wide relatively flat trails. You will learn basic birding and key skills in listening to and identifying birds. You will learn where the birds prefer to be in the foliage and the best times of day to find different species.
