Come to Cope Environmental Center for an exciting adventure into the secretive world of the American Woodcock! We’ll kick things off in the MC Davis Room, where you'll discover fascinating facts about these incredible birds and their daily lives. Then, as dusk falls, we’ll head outdoors to witness the males perform their jaw-dropping acrobatic display flights. Learn how to spot and identify these birds by both sight and sound, and find out which habitats might be home to them near you! Dress for the weather, and feel free to bring a flashlight—though it’s not required. This event is perfect for all ages, so bring the whole family!
