Step into a season of discovery as Cope Environmental Center hosts a 2026 Indiana Master Naturalist (IMN) Program. Designed for adult learners of all experience levels, this 12-class series invites participants to explore Indiana’s plants, wildlife, and ecological systems through hands-on lessons led by conservation professionals and scientists. Each session opens a new window into the landscapes that make our state extraordinary-while connecting you with others who share a curiosity for the natural world.

From March through June, classes meet from 5:30–8:30 PM, with most sessions held inside Cope’s Certified Living Building-a space crafted to spark wonder and deepen environmental understanding. This year’s curriculum features a wide range of topics including Forestry, Wetland Ecology, Geology, Astronomy, Herpetology, Environmental Ethics, and more.

The online registration fee is $165, which covers instruction and educational materials for the full program. Participants must be 18 or older, and no previous environmental science background is required-just an eagerness to learn and explore.
