Come join us as we explore our meadow and prairie to see what flowers are blooming, which insects are pollinating the flowers and search for hidden predators who are waiting to catch the pollinators. We'll also watch for birds and Monarch butterflies beginning their migration south and other signs of fall. Plus, we'll use our ears to try to locate some members of autumn's “insect orchestra” who are rubbing their wings and or legs together to send a musical message to their potential mates in the meadow.
Easy walk on level ground.
Saturday September 17 10-11AM - We'll be out in the sun so bring a hat and your water bottle.
Fun for all ages, pre-registration required $5 members/ $7 non members
